Christian Beliefs

CONCERNING GOD

​

• We believe in one God; who has been revealed to us as three persons namely: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in God the Father, the Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth, the only true source of life, who created us as human beings to live in a quality relationship with Him.

• We believe in Jesus Christ as the only Way to the Father, the Truth and the Life, who brings restoration to all brokenness throughout creation; Jesus Christ, who for the sake of man and his salvation, left heaven and became human; conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary; who lived on earth, fully Man and fully God; He who was crucified, died, and was buried, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father as the guarantor of our salvation, and where He now intercedes for us.

• We believe in the Holy Spirit, the ongoing presence of God within Christian believers, and in the world, who convinces us of our sin, works in and through the followers of Christ in the world empowering us to bring the plan of God on earth to fulfillment, works within believers to change them so they can live out love just like Jesus, and is a comforter and guide to us.

CONCERNING THE WORD OF GOD

• We believe that the Bible both the Old and New Testament is the written revelation of God, written by people under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. 

• We believe that it that it is definitive and accurate in teaching us how to know God and live according to his will.

CONCERNING ETERNITY

​

• We believe that Jesus Christ will come again, that the dead will be resurrected. 

• We believe that each person will give an account of their life before God, and that those who have followed after Christ are assured of life, but those who finally do not turn to God will be lost.
